Well, every space has got it's own peculiarity both geographically and in belief(could be traditional or salient natural laws that found their spaces in conventions over the time). But to put ahead, Nigerian socio-cultural cum political milieu seems to defy some synthesis that may emerge from various philosophical opinions, being that it has in itself, a world of humans with hardly unified beliefs - also easily influenced by numerous beliefs. It is thereby difficult to approach a Nigerian predicament with a parochial view; a world view may find pertinence, but still to a limited end.
Well, world views even stem into premises and logical screenings, so much that what solves a perspective in the last few minutes may fail imminently.
Thus, would it not be of more reasonable essence to approach an event with more realistic and systemic substances within the sphere of that particular happening, being conscious of the fact that an already known or conventional belief system would be relevant in that regard than many other imported propositions?
If Africa prospers for instance, it doesn't mean Uganda did. It may simply mean African general development with consideration to some evident horizons had improved. That too should not be a reason for an _Up NEPA!!!_🤷♂️.
An instance of the African intellectual development in the past century may find relevance here. Now that _the Other can speak to the Center_ (scholars of diaspora topics may relate better). But this never means that human right in a part of Africa like Nigeria is well marshalled, so much that a child knows their right.
Let us come home and heal our yellow leafed vegetables from their green roots!
Explorations and experimentations have failed over the ages - they attempt salting a Marah from the shores without locating the source... it will fail again!
We would be myopic to rest on the world development while retrogression is evident in our immediate cosmos. I for one believe a mother at 60 would not be proud she still crawls despite all vitamins, calcium, and all fats made available for her. Her children would be somewhere between the gab of silence and gloomy hope - not proud nor wanting to get disposed of her. She would not be bold to lay claim of motherhood... she is _alágẹmọ;_ fulfilling the reproduction law of motherhood but defying the wisdom of care! She is _Òpìpì!_ large womb bird with short feathers for numerous children - an image of the rare eagle - bearing the name but lacking the eyes to see from farthest distance, wings to soar 'midst tussles and winds, claws to hold or hack a game - mother scavenging for remnant grains while children are Josephs abroad...
Metaphors will only end up being sceptical analogies attempting perfect embedded description of what exactly this mother truly is at 60 - maybe a jaded jerusalem living like Ai in it's own province.
